CFCAA Sweeps Awards at Conference

CFCAA won all three awards granted by the Florida Association of Community Action at the 2008 annual conference. This is the first time in 28 years a single agency has won all three recognitions.  

· CFCAA was named “Agency of the Year.”

· Charles J. Harris, CFCAA board director, was named “Volunteer of the Year.” 

· Juanita L. Edwards* was named “Participant of the Year.” 

*Madeline McCloud was the family development specialist who worked with Edwards.

The conference was held in Coral Springs, Fla. May 14-May 16, 2008.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

CEO Named Advocate of the Year

In March 2008, Robert Wilford, CEO of CFCAA, was named “Advocate of the Year” by East Gainesville Development Association Corporation.
