The Battillo family has struggled with illness and financial woes for several years, but their world recently got a lot brighter.
“Oh, my God,” said Jennifer Battillo when the Marion Oaks family of seven was surprised with a free car from Jenkins Auto Group following a mock drawing during an owners clinic at Jenkins Hyundai of Ocala.
The family was called to the dealership under the guise they were one of two finalists to be given a car. When the family members instead were told they were receiving the car, about 70 guests at the clinic stood up and shouted “Welcome to the family.”
